When Ellis Bryan built a beautifull little scalloped picket fence to enclose his mothers garden, he had no idea that it would garner so much attention. Within days, he was receiving calls from all over their neighborhood from people wanting him to build fences! Ellis realized that he had a skill and business sense to develop it. And so, in the Spring of 2004 Bryan Fences was born.
Ellis Bryan, Owner/Operator of Bryan Fences, grew up in Nashville, TN. After attending Hillsboro High School he entered the Air Force where he was stationed mostly in Delaware and England. After traveling the world as an Airman, Ellis moved to Florida to farm clams. He returned back to Nashville in 1998 to attend MTSU. During his college days he also joined the Air National Guard 118th Airlift Wing and ran a landscaping crew. Ellis graduated from MTSU with a degree in Agri-Business and Economics.
After 9/11, Ellis was deployed and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He married Katie Goddard, a friend from high school in 2002 and had a daughter named Lilli in 2004. It was after an honorable discharge from the Air Guard in 2004 that he started Bryan Fences.
A love and respect of carpentry was born in Ellis after being mentored by his grandfather, Paul C. Holly. His entreprenurial spirit was fostered by his father, Bill Bryan, who owns Green Machine Landscaping, also located inNashville.
Ellis enjoys building things, camping, fishing and playing guitar.
